Part of my trying to be responsible includes giving myself a clothing allowance. That way, if I want something I save my allowance and then shop.
When I heard about the Lucian Matis sample sale, I made plans to go. I usually don’t go to sample sales as I’m not a sample size. Then I found out that it’s not just samples available. I met up with Brigitte and Gail and we headed up to the sale. I got work and event clothes for a steal. I bought a couple skirts and about four dresses.

This one is a blackcurrent-coloured dress from his diffusion line, Matis by Lucian Matis. Perfect for events. This one was $80.

The slightly not-so-basic sheath dress. Again from the Matis by Lucian Matis line. This one was $50.

This skirt is from the Lucian Matis line. It’s pink (yes, I know) and ruffled. It looks amazing with a white shirt. I will wear this to work because I can.

This one is a little on the side of gothic milkmaid but it works. I’m not used to anything around my neck but the sheerness of the neckline avoid claustrophobia.
